Logan Andrew Cooper, 28, fought a good fight, kept the faith and won the race. He entered heaven on April 22, 2018, to join his big brother, Taylor.He was born on June 20, 1989, in Hutchinson, the son of Jack Cooper and Nancy Johnson.
Logan was a member of the 2008 graduating class of Campus High School in Haysville. After high school he attended Pratt Community College, on a wrestling scholarship and later attended Barton Community College.
He was an avid lover of the outdoors. You would generally find him working on a car riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles or racing. Logan also enjoyed hunting, fishing and his pitbull, Dallas. He was also a competitive MMA fighter, and held several title belts concurrently. However, his biggest love was spending time with his family and friends, but most of all his son, Jaxton.
Preceding him in death was his brother Taylor Joseph Cooper.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jack and Tammy Cooper, mother and step-father, Nancy and Steve Johnson; a son, Jaxton and his girlfriend,Bailee Weilert; three siblings, Morgan Cooper, Casie Cooper and Lena Ming and her husband Jon; sister-in-law, Brandi Wiens; nephews, Caleb, Trevor and nieces Chloe, Lanee and Alivia; five step siblings, Lauren, Kristen, Jessica, Aurora and Blake.
Visitation will be held at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00p.m. with the family present.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1201 E. 23rd Ave., Hutchinson, KS.
Burial will follow at the Peace Creek Cemetery, Sylvia, Kansas.
Memorials may be made to the Logan A. Cooper Memorial Fund, to benefit his son Jaxton, in care of the funeral home at 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
